East of Eden Flower Farm grows specialty cut flowers and offers seasonal floral design for weddings and events in coastal Maine. From March through November, you can find our flowers in many different places - we make mixed bouquets for local retail outlets and our popular CSA program. We offer bulk buckets of flowers for DIY couples and also offer floral design services for weddings. We work with floral designers in the Portland and Brunswick area and are expanding into local farmers' markets.

Floral Crowns with Honeysuckle Way {Sunday, June 10th}

Sunday, June 10th from 10 AM to 12 PM

East of Eden Flower Farm, Bowdoinham

Join Julia from East of Eden Flower Farm and our guest Andrea Ault from Honeysuckle Way Flowers as we team up for our first class in The Farmer & The Florist series. In this hands-on workshop, participants will make beautiful floral crowns with seasonal flowers grown on the farm!

The workshop will begin with a tour of the farm where we’ll learn more about small-scale diversified flower farming in Maine. Afterwards, we will all head back to our new studio space where Andrea will demonstrate how to make a lush flower crown staring ranunculus and other blooms grown right in the very fields we’ve just walked through. Next, each participant will use the techniques they have learned and make their own flower crown! Julia and Andrea will be there to provide guidance and answer any farming or design questions that come up along the way.

  • $55 per person, plus sales tax

  • All floral materials and supplies are included in the cost of the workshop, though participants are welcome to bring their own clippers if they have a favorite pair.

  • Delicious morning refreshments, including tea and coffee, will be provided.
